How to Protect Against Parasites When Traveling?

A friend suggested I share some information for people traveling to third world or remote countries where contracting parasites is common.

It may not be a foolproof recommendation but has shown to be very effective over the years.

Hydrochloric acid (HCL) is produced in the stomach by specialized cells. In addition to helping with the breakdown of proteins, it also acts as a protective barrier. That is, if a person has enough HCL, it is difficult or impossible for microbes, bacteria and parasites to slip through to the small intestines or large bowel and wreak havoc.

In addition to taking enzymes, probiotics and vermifuges (anti-parasitics such as wormwood, black walnut, etc.), supplementing extra hydrochloric acid with each meal will add extra “insurance” while traveling. The whole idea is to neutralize parasites before they have a chance to move along into the alimentary canal where they could do real damage.
